PFCS aims to offer essential community-based supports to marginalized and disabled individuals who may lack necessary resources and support. Our mission is to prevent homelessness, incarceration, and other negative outcomes for those facing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. We strive to achieve a more inclusive and supportive environment for everyone in our community. 

PFCS welcomes opportunities to support marginalized adults and youth who may lack natural or funded support and are at risk of homelessness, incarceration, or other adverse actions due to emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges. We are a “Safe Place” and respect the preferences, cultural and linguistic characteristics of individuals and their families.

PFCS  uses evidence-based practice to aid adults and youth managing physical, mental, developmental, and behavioral challenges to successfully participate in their communities. PFCS accomplishes this by supporting individuals to acquire skills that support adjustment to their disability while enhancing independent living skills which if applicable may include job readiness or job retention. 

PFCS partners with adults and youth to develop individualized plans that contain meaningful person-centered goals. Finally, we support individuals to pursue their goals using experiential (learning by doing), psycho-educational (learning about the nature of the illness/disability), and psycho-therapeutic (learning to manage illness/disability) activities.
